Frequently Asked Questions
What is the point of the 2 pack over two single orders?
Price per cartridge and never being caught without a spare. The pair costs $192.18 — $96.09 for each 006R01509 — where two singles total $210.68. That is $18.50 saved, plus a cartridge already in the building when the first one gives out.
How many pages does the pair cover on a 7835?
Up to 52,000 pages in total, 26,000 from each cartridge. At that volume the pair prices out to about 0.37 cents per page. The single-cartridge option, for comparison, is the 006R01509 single cartridge at roughly 0.41 cents a page.
How long might the second cartridge sit before use?
Potentially many months on a moderate-volume machine, and that is fine. Keep it in its sealed packaging, lying flat at room temperature and out of direct sunlight, and it will be ready when its turn comes.
Do these cartridges handle the color positions too?
No — both are black. The colors are separate supplies with their own numbers: cyan 006R01512, magenta 006R01511, yellow 006R01510. Order whichever color the machine flags, from its own listing.
What if I need to return one?
Returns are free for a full year, and each cartridge carries a 1-year warranty. The policy in full is on our shipping and returns page. We ship from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California; support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
