Frequently Asked Questions
Who actually needs eight cartridges at once for a desktop printer?
Offices where the Phaser 6140 is shared and prints all day. Eight cartridges spanning black 106R01480, cyan 106R01477, magenta 106R01478 and yellow 106R01479 means roughly two full changeovers on the shelf, so a busy machine never waits on a courier mid-week.
How should a stock of eight be rotated?
Oldest box first. Write the delivery month on each carton when the bundle lands, line them up in that order, and always take from the front. Rotation keeps every cartridge reasonably fresh and makes a quick visual stock check possible — count the boxes and you know where you stand.
What are the ratings across the eight?
Every black 106R01480 is rated around 2,500 pages and every color — 106R01477 cyan, 106R01478 magenta, 106R01479 yellow — around 2,000 pages at 5% coverage. A shared machine burning through color graphics will cycle the colors noticeably faster than the black.
Does $122.98 cover all eight cartridges?
Yes, the price is for the complete eight-cartridge bundle, each unit sealed in its own packaging. There is no separate charge per box and nothing further to add for the set itself at checkout beyond the store's normal terms.
Can cartridges from this bundle be fitted one at a time over months?
That is exactly the intended pattern. Slots are independent: replace whichever of 106R01480, 106R01477, 106R01478 or 106R01479 has run out, and the remaining stock waits in its boxes until its turn, with no need to disturb the cartridges still working.
What backing does a bulk purchase get?
The same as a single cartridge: a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns on every unit in the bundle. Shipments originate from IL, PA, GA or CA warehouses, and the shipping and returns page explains delivery and returns handling. A staffed support line runs Mon–Fri, 9 AM–5 PM CST.
