Frequently Asked Questions

Our company logo is supposed to be red, but it keeps printing rusty orange — why?

Because red is mixed, not stored. The printer builds red from magenta laid over yellow, and this 106R02757 is the magenta half of that recipe. As it fades, yellow takes over and the same logo file drifts through rust to orange, then to a washed tan. The file has not changed and the printer is not broken — one ingredient of the mix is simply running out.

The title says "Toner Cartridges" — how many are in the box?

One. The plural wording is a catalogue habit across these listings, but the box holds a single 106R02757 magenta cartridge at $25.22, rated at up to 1,000 pages. That one cartridge is the whole purchase — there is no second colour bundled into the price.

We mostly print black text with the odd colour page — how long will 1,000 pages of magenta last us?

Far longer than the headline number suggests. The 1,000-page rating assumes colour on every sheet at the standard 5% coverage; an office printing letters and invoices with an occasional chart or photo asks very little of its magenta, so a cartridge can serve for many months. The rating matters most when you compare it with your colour habits, not your total page count.

Can I shake the cartridge to squeeze out more life?

A gentle rock side to side can level the toner inside and buy a few acceptable pages when a cartridge is nearly spent — useful for finishing a job tonight. It creates no new toner, though, and print quality drops again quickly. Treat a recovered page as borrowed time and have the replacement 106R02757 on hand rather than making shaking part of the routine.

Which printer is this listing written for?

The Phaser 6022 is the headline machine for this listing, and the identical 106R02757 supply is also the magenta used by the WorkCentre 6027 — one spare covers both if your office runs the pair.

What happens if the cartridge disappoints me?

Every cartridge is backed by a 1-year warranty with free returns for a full year; the terms are spelled out on our shipping and returns page. Parcels leave our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California, and the support team answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This 106R02757 Magenta Cartridge for the Phaser 6022
