Frequently Asked Questions

What does each colour in this set actually cost me?

The set is $38.70 for three cartridges, which breaks down to $12.90 per colour. Each cartridge is rated at 1,000 pages, so the box holds 3,000 rated pages of colour in total — roughly 1.3 cents per rated page. That is the whole calculation: no bundle arithmetic to untangle, just one of each colour your machine needs, at a per-cartridge price you can check against any single listing.

How do I match each cartridge to the right colour?

Go by the codes. The cyan cartridge is the 106R02756, the magenta is the 106R02757 and the yellow is the 106R02758, and each unit is labelled for the bay it belongs in — the three are not interchangeable and each seats only in its own slot. Note that this set covers colour only: the black for these machines is the 106R02759, a separate cartridge with its own listing, and it is not in this box.

Can I fit one colour now and keep the other two for later?

Yes. The three bays work independently, so if only your magenta has given out, fit the magenta and leave the cyan 106R02756 and yellow 106R02758 sealed in the box. Unopened cartridges keep well stored flat in a cool, dry cupboard away from sunlight, ready for the day their colour runs low. Many owners do exactly this — the set is on the shelf as insurance, drawn on one colour at a time.

My greens have turned blue and my reds look rusty. Is a colour running out?

Very likely, and the direction of the shift tells you which one. Green is printed from cyan plus yellow, so when the yellow fades the balance tips and greens come out blue. Red is magenta plus yellow, so a fading magenta drags reds toward orange and rust. A test page with solid patches of each colour confirms it in seconds: the weak patch names the empty bay, and with this set the replacement is already in the building.

Which machines is this set made for?

Two models share this exact colour set: the Phaser 6022 and the WorkCentre 6027. Both run the cyan 106R02756, magenta 106R02757 and yellow 106R02758, so if your office has one of each, a single set on the shelf covers the colour side of either machine.

What if one cartridge in the set turns out to be faulty?

Each cartridge in the set carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, so a unit that misbehaves goes back for a replacement or a refund rather than becoming a sunk cost. Orders are dispatched from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and our support team is reachable Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if you want a hand identifying which cartridge is at fault. Postage, timelines and the returns steps are all laid out on our shipping & returns page.

About This 3 Colour Set

This set is the colour side of the Phaser 6022 and WorkCentre 6027 handled in one purchase: a cyan 106R02756, a magenta 106R02757 and a yellow 106R02758, each rated at 1,000 pages, together $38.70. It suits owners who would rather hold a matched trio in reserve than order a single colour under pressure when a deadline print run exposes an empty bay. Fit them together for a full palette reset or draw on them one at a time — either way the cover is the same, with a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns on every cartridge. The rest of the Xerox range, including the black cartridge for this platform, is available on the site.
