Frequently Asked Questions

We run several machines on this same drum — how does a three pack fit that?

Very neatly, because one part number covers the fleet. If your office runs machines from the 4118 family side by side, a single stock of 113R671 units serves them all: no separate drums per model, no shelf of lookalike boxes. Three units in one delivery means each machine can be covered, or one busy machine can be covered three times over.

What does the fleet math look like?

The three pack is $254.30 — $84.77 per drum, against $97.09 bought singly, a saving of $36.97 across the box. For a part that every machine in the group will eventually need, buying it at the fleet price rather than the emergency price is the whole point of the pack.

How do we decide which machine gets the next unit?

Go by symptoms, not by the calendar. A worn drum repeats the same spot or line down the page at a fixed spacing and lays a grey fog behind clean text; a healthy drum does neither, whatever its age. A simple log — machine, date, page count when each unit went in — tells you which printer is due next and stops good units being swapped out on suspicion.

How much printing stands behind the box?

Each 113R671 is rated for a service life of up to 20,000 pages, so three units represent up to 60,000 pages of drum life spread across your machines however they fall due. Remember the drum outlasts several toner cartridges in the same machine — the two parts wear on entirely different clocks.

Any storage discipline for three units at once?

Keep them sealed, flat and together in a cool, dry place out of direct light, and pencil the delivery date on each box. Fit them oldest first. The photoconductor surface inside is the delicate part: it should never be handled directly or left exposed on a desk, so the box stays shut until the unit is going straight into a machine.

What guarantee covers the three pack?

Every unit is covered by a 1-year warranty, with free returns for a full year; the full terms are on our shipping and returns page. Orders ship from warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California, and the support desk runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
