Frequently Asked Questions
Who goes through drum units three at a time?
Print rooms and copy shops running a DocuColor or a large WorkCentre at steady volume. At tens of thousands of pages a month, an 80,000-page drum is a routine service item rather than a rare event — and running out mid-job means the machine sits idle, printing faults, while a delivery is in transit. Three units is a working maintenance shelf, not a stockpile.
How far does a 3-pack stretch?
240,000 pages of drum life end to end — three units at 80,000 pages each. At 10,000 pages a month, that is roughly two years of black-drum changes covered by a single order; at heavier volumes the calendar shrinks but the page math stays exactly the same.
What is the saving against three singles bought separately?
The 3-pack is $535.35 — $178.45 a unit against $190.77 on the single listing, a saving of $36.96 across the three. Over the combined life, the drum cost per page comes down to about 0.22 cents.
When the first unit goes in, should the others be fitted too while the machine is open?
No. The machine holds a single black drum, and each unit's 80,000-page life is its own — fitting a fresh unit early simply throws away whatever life remains in the one already in place. Change on the machine's prompt or on print quality, and keep the remaining units sealed until their turn.
Every unit in the pack is backed by a one-year warranty and free returns for a year, as set out on the shipping and returns page. Orders ship from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST. The wider range for these machines sits on the Xerox toner page.
