Frequently Asked Questions
A shared copy machine runs out at the worst times. Does a 2-pack actually solve that?
Mostly, yes — the second cartridge sits on the shelf as the spare, so the swap takes two minutes instead of turning into a rush order. Between the two cartridges you get 14,000 rated pages, which for a DSM415 in a small office is a long stretch of printing and copying. The real value is that nobody has to stop work while waiting on a delivery.
What does the second cartridge cost me compared with buying singles?
Two single cartridges would cost $57.62; this 2-pack is $39.12, so you save $18.50 and each cartridge works out to $19.56. That drops the running cost to roughly 0.28 cents per page. It is the same cartridge either way — the saving comes purely from buying the pair together.
Does a spare cartridge go bad sitting on the shelf?
Kept sealed in its packaging, away from heat and direct sunlight, a toner cartridge stores well for a long time — a spare bought today will be fine when the first cartridge runs out months from now. Just leave it in the box until you need it. Most offices keep the spare in the same cabinet as the paper.
Are both cartridges covered if something goes wrong?
Both cartridges carry the same one-year warranty, and returns stay free for a year — see our shipping and returns page for the full terms. If either cartridge in the pack is defective, we replace it or refund it. Support hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
Where does the 2-pack ship from?
Orders ship from whichever of our four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California — makes the most sense for your address. That keeps transit times down for most of the country. A shelf spare plus regional shipping means toner downtime is rarely more than the time it takes to swap the cartridge.
