Frequently Asked Questions
What does a second cartridge on the shelf buy a busy office?
Continuity during the heavy weeks — month-end mailings, report season, enrollment rushes — which are exactly when a department copier gets worked hardest and when a toner outage hurts most. With the spare in the cabinet, the changeover is a minute's work and the queue never forms. It converts toner from a recurring emergency into a non-event.
How does the pair pricing work?
The 2-pack costs $39.12, or $19.56 per cartridge. Buying the same two cartridges separately would run $57.62, so ordering them together saves $18.50, and you have 14,000 rated pages on hand. The discount lands almost entirely on the second cartridge.
Can this 2-pack serve other machines in our building, or only the DSM516?
Think of it as two changeovers, not one: install the first, and when the spare goes in — typically six to twelve months later at department volumes — that's your cue to reorder. The pack suits a DSM516 doing steady daily copying; a machine used twice a week is better served by a single cartridge at a time.
How is the spare best stored between changeovers?
Sealed in its box, stored flat in a cool, dry supply cabinet away from sunlight and heat. Dry toner keeps well under those conditions, so a spare bought today is dependable when its turn comes months from now. Rotate so the oldest stock is always the next installed.
What if the spare is faulty when we finally open it?
It's covered the same as the first cartridge: a one-year warranty on each, with free returns for a year as described on our shipping & returns page. A defect discovered at installation is handled like one discovered on day one — contact us and we'll replace or refund.
