Frequently Asked Questions

Who honestly goes through six color cartridges for one machine?

Print rooms and offices that run the Ricoh SP C811DN as a real production machine — training packs, marketing runs, color reports by the hundreds. At that pace a 15,000-page color cartridge is a monthly consumable, not a yearly one, and running dry mid-run costs more than the toner does. The six-cartridge set at $447.61 exists for that profile: a working stock on the shelf so the machine never waits on a delivery.

How much printing does this set actually cover?

Six cartridges in total, and every color cartridge in it is rated at 15,000 pages — so think in terms of depth per color rather than a single combined number, since cyan, magenta and yellow burn at different rates depending on what you print. Blue-heavy work drains cyan first; warm, photographic work leans on magenta and yellow. The set gives you a second round of colors ready when the first round finishes.

Does this set fit my printer?

It is made for Ricoh SP C811DN. Confirm your machine belongs to that family and the colors install in their labeled slots as usual. Note that this is the color stock only — the black cartridge for the printer is a separate listing with its own page rating.

Is buying six at once risky if our print volume drops?

Less than most people fear. Unopened cartridges keep well in their sealed packaging, and your purchase is protected by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns if plans genuinely change. The honest line: if the machine prints color only occasionally, this set is more stock than you need and the smaller options fit better; if it prints color every day, the shelf stock pays for itself in avoided downtime. The full policy is on our shipping & returns page.

Can the set be split across more than one printer?

Yes — nothing ties the cartridges to a single machine. Offices running two printers from the same family often park the set on one shelf and draw from it as either machine calls for a color. Just track which colors have been pulled; a simple first-in, first-out habit — oldest cartridge installed first — keeps the stock rotating evenly.

How fast can a stock-up order like this reach us?

Stock ships out of four warehouses — IL, PA, GA and CA — so even a six-cartridge box leaves from the location nearest you. If a color runs out before a planned reorder, call us Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST and we will tell you plainly which warehouse your order would ship from and how long it should take.
