Frequently Asked Questions

When does it make sense to replace all four cartridges at once?

When the whole set is aging together. If color output has gone dull across the board — not just one weak color — a full refresh puts every channel back to a known-good starting point in one maintenance session. It is also the natural buy when setting up a department's supply stock from scratch, since it covers black and all three colors in a single order.

Do the four cartridges in this set last the same number of pages?

No — black and color are rated differently, as they are throughout this family. The black cartridge is rated at 20,000 pages, while each color cartridge — cyan, magenta, and yellow — is rated at 15,000 pages. In practice your black will usually outlast the colors, which is normal for mixed office printing.

What does this set work out to per cartridge?

The four-cartridge set is $280.74, an average of $70.19 per cartridge across the black, cyan, magenta, and yellow units. That average is the honest way to look at it: one order, one shipment, and every slot in the printer covered, with no separate purchases to track down later.

Which printer does this four-cartridge set belong to?

It is the 820000 cartridge set — one black, one cyan, one magenta, and one yellow — made for Ricoh SP C811DN. All four units are the cartridges that platform takes, so a full change is a straight swap of the four loaded units for the four in this box.

Only my colors are low — is the set still the right buy?

It depends on your black cartridge's remaining life. If black was replaced recently, you may be better served topping up colors only and saving the full set for when everything runs down together. If black is also well into its life, the set avoids a second order and a second swap a few weeks from now.

What cover and delivery come with the set?

Every cartridge in the set carries a one-year warranty, and returns are free for a full year — a problem with a single unit is handled for that unit alone. Full details are on our shipping and returns page. Orders ship from our IL, PA, GA, and CA warehouses, and support is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
