Frequently Asked Questions
Where does the 3-pack sit in this cartridge's price ladder?
Right in the middle. Singles are $44.01; this 3-pack is $95.04, which is about $31.68 per cartridge — $36.99 less than three singles at $132.03. The 5- and 10-packs push the per-cartridge price lower still, but three is the rung where the discount becomes substantial without a big box to store.
How much printing does a 3-pack cover?
Each 56123402 is rated at 5,500 pages, so three cartridges total 16,500 rated pages. For an MB260MFP in steady daily use, that is typically several months of printing and copying between reorders.
What is my cost per page at this pack size?
At about $31.68 per cartridge and 5,500 rated pages each, the running cost is roughly 0.58 cents per page — down from about 0.80 cents a page buying singles. Coverage heavier than the standard test page will nudge that figure up somewhat.
Which printers use these cartridges?
The 56123402 is listed for the Okidata MB260MFP — the model in this listing's name — and the MB280MFP. All three cartridges in the pack are the same part number for the same machines.
What if I open one cartridge and it prints badly?
Tell us. Every cartridge is covered by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, whether it came from a single box or a multi-pack. The process is described on our shipping & returns page, and support runs Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST.
Are these original Okidata cartridges?
No — they are compatible cartridges manufactured to the 56123402 specification. Orders ship from our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia, or California warehouses, whichever serves you fastest.
