Frequently Asked Questions

Who needs six color cartridges in one order?

Offices that print color as a matter of routine on the C831dn or its family — training providers, marketing teams, schools — and would rather plan toner than chase it. This set stocks two full rounds of the machine's colors: the cyan 44844511, magenta 44844510 and yellow 44844509, six cartridges in all.

What does the six-pack do to the price?

It is $192.45. Set against two three-color sets at $105.48 each — $210.96 — the six-pack saves another $18.51, and against the three singles at $47.48 each it is cheaper still per round. Per cartridge it works out to roughly $32.08, the lowest figure in this color family.

Is black part of the six?

No — plainly, this is a colors-only set, doubled. The black cartridge for the C831dn family is a separate line item with its own replacement rhythm, and nothing in this box substitutes for it.

Will cartridges bought in bulk still be good when I reach them?

Each one is individually sealed, so a cartridge waiting on the shelf is in the same condition as one bought the week it is fitted. Bulk buying in this family is a pricing strategy, not a freshness gamble — install them as the machine calls for each color.

What yield does each cartridge carry?

The standard rating for its color: 10,000 pages per cartridge, the same units sold singly as the 44844511, 44844510 and 44844509. The count in the box changes; the cartridges do not.

What cover stands behind the set?

A 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns on every cartridge, under our shipping and returns policy. The set belongs to our Okidata range of compatible cartridges, ships from IL, PA, GA or CA, and support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
