Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a black cartridge anywhere in this six-pack?

There is not, and the contents list says so openly: 46507603 cyan, 46507602 magenta and 46507601 yellow are the only codes in the box. Black for the C712dn is 46507604 and is bought separately. This pack exists for printers whose color side cycles far faster than their black.

How are six cartridges spread across three colors?

The listing does not state the split, so we will not assert one. What can be said: six cartridges over three color positions is two full color rounds if divided evenly, and if the precise division matters to your stock plan, support will confirm the box contents before you commit.

What does the pack do to the per-cartridge price?

It cuts it substantially. Singles in this family are $63.87 each, so six bought individually would total $383.22. This set is $290.74 — about $48.46 per cartridge, a saving of $92.48 against the single-by-single route.

Why would a workgroup hold two rounds of color but not black?

Because consumption is rarely symmetrical. A C712dn producing charts, presentations and color documents can cycle colors twice while a high-capacity black is still mid-life. Stocking to the actual pattern keeps cash out of unneeded black cartridges and in the colors that genuinely run dry.

What rating does each color cartridge carry?

11,500 pages apiece — the colors in this family are rated slightly above the black's 11,000. Quoted per cartridge, as a class figure, that is the number to plan each fitting around; we deliberately do not multiply it into a set total.

What backing applies to a bulk color pack like this?

Each compatible cartridge carries a one-year warranty and one-year free returns, detailed on our shipping and returns page. We ship from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California warehouses, and support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
