Frequently Asked Questions
What problem is a colors-only three-pack the answer to?
The moment all three colors on a C712dn report low together while black still has real life in it. This set — 46507603 cyan, 46507602 magenta, 46507601 yellow — refreshes the color side in one order and deliberately leaves black (46507604) out of the bill.
How much does the set save against the three singles?
The singles are $63.87 each, totaling $191.61. This set is $154.62, so the saving is $36.99 — an average of about $51.54 per cartridge. When the colors genuinely finish together, it is the cheapest route back to full color in this family.
And if only one color has actually run dry?
Buy the single. Replacing a cartridge with thousands of rated pages left in it throws value away, and each color is sold separately for exactly that situation. The set is the right tool when the three colors are fading within a short window of each other, not before.
What yield does each cartridge in the set bring?
11,500 pages per color — in this family the color rating actually sits slightly above black's 11,000. Per-cartridge figures like that make a freshly fitted set a long-term fix for a department printer rather than a stopgap.
Must all three be fitted on the same day?
No. Open the box and the cartridges are independent. Fit the color that is flashing now, keep the other two sealed and stored flat, and fit them as their turns arrive — there is no penalty for staggering them.
What cover does this compatible set include?
A one-year warranty and one-year free returns, with the terms on our shipping and returns page. Fulfilment is from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses, and support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
