Frequently Asked Questions

How much printing does a 5-pack put on the shelf?

Five 44574701 cartridges rated at 4,000 pages each total 20,000 pages for your B411D. A desk printing 1,500 pages a month is covered for over a year; a busier shared printer at 3,000 pages a month still gets more than half a year. That depth of stock is what lets a busy office stop thinking about toner altogether for months at a time.

What does this pack do to the per-cartridge price?

The 5-pack is $68.28, which works out to $13.66 per cartridge and roughly 0.34 cents per page. Five singles at $28.45 would come to $142.25, so the pack saves $73.97 — more than the cost of two extra cartridges at the single rate. Per page, you are paying less than half of what the single-cartridge buyer pays.

When does buying five at once stop making sense?

Honestly, when your volume is low. If your B411D prints a few hundred pages a month, one cartridge lasts the better part of a year and a 5-pack ties up money in stock you will not touch for years. The 5-pack earns its discount in offices where cartridges turn over regularly — shared machines, billing runs, report-heavy workflows.

What is the reorder signal with a 5-pack on hand?

When the last cartridge leaves the shelf and goes into the printer, order the next pack. You then have a full 4,000 pages installed as your buffer while the new stock ships. Offices that wait for the low-toner warning before reordering are the ones that end up borrowing a cartridge from another department.

Can this stock cover more than one printer?

Yes. Each cartridge is an Okidata 44574701, which also fits the Oki B411dn and B431d and the MB461 MFP, MB471, and MB471W. A single 5-pack on a central shelf can supply every one of those machines in the office, which simplifies purchasing — one cartridge number to reorder, one stock location to check.

What warranty and return coverage applies?

All five cartridges carry a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, as described on our shipping and returns page. Orders ship from the closest of our four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia, or California — and support is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
