Frequently Asked Questions

My spent cartridge is out and in my hand. What do I do with it?

Set it aside for recycling — toner cartridges are collected by office-supply recycling streams and community e-waste programs, and the box your new cartridge arrives in makes a tidy return container. The replacement itself is this CE320A single, $33.07, ready to take the empty slot.

How do I confirm the old and new cartridges are the same type?

Compare labels: the outgoing unit reads CE320A, and so does this cartridge. The code is printed on both, making the moment of the swap self-verifying — no paperwork or manual needed.

What will the new cartridge deliver?

A full 2,000-page rating in the black slot of your CP1520-series machine — the complete standard fill, against the reduced fill of the starter cartridge many owners are replacing at this point.

Anything to check before the drawer closes?

Two things: the seal tape fully removed, and the cartridge sitting flat and level in its slot. Both take a glance; both prevent the only common frustrations of an otherwise two-minute job.

Will colors already in the machine be affected?

No. The black swap touches one slot only. Colors with life left in them carry on untouched, each on its own schedule.

What guarantee does the new cartridge carry?

A 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns from Clever Supplies. If it fails within the year, it returns free — and can go back in the same recycling-minded spirit as the old one.

About This CE320A Single for the CP1520 Series

The swap moment is the one time a printer owner holds the whole supply chain in two hands: spent cartridge out, fresh CE320A — the black of the 128A family — in. This single at $33.07 is built for that moment on the CP1520 platform — the print-only branch of the family that also produced the Color LaserJet CP1520 — carrying the full 2,000-page rating into the black slot.

Orders dispatch from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA. Shipping and returns are explained on the shipping & returns page, support works Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST, and the platform range is shelved under HP on the store.

Half the fit list reads Color LaserJet CM1415fnw, Color LaserJet CP1522n, Color LaserJet CP1523n, Color LaserJet CP1525nw and Color LaserJet Pro CP1525nw; the other half is the LaserJet CM1415fnw, Color LaserJet CP1520, Color LaserJet CM1415, Color LaserJet CM1415fn and Color LaserJet CP1528nw. Alongside it sit the 128A cyan cartridge (CE321A), 128A magenta cartridge (CE323A) and 128A yellow cartridge (CE322A); the 128A four-color set is there when the whole set is replaced at once.
