Which printers is it for?

WorkForce Pro WF-C5210, WF-C5290, WF-C5710 and WF-C5790 — the complete official 902 list. If your model is not one of those four, this pack is not yours.

Why does magenta rate as high as black here?

Because Epson built the 902 ladder symmetrically: 3,000 pages per colour at the standard tier, 5,000 per colour at XL. That is a property of this RIPS family, not a claim we are adding.

Does the pack include a printhead?

No — and neither does the genuine pack. The printhead is the printer's fixed PrecisionCore head; the pack is ink plus its chip. There is no printhead cartridge anywhere in the Epson line.

What should I know about the chip before ordering?

The pack carries a new compatible chip for ink-level reporting. This pack carries a new compatible chip. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur — Epson's own documentation for these packs says firmware updates can stop third-party packs, so we say it too, and the lifetime warranty is your backstop.

The printer flagged this pack after a firmware update. What do I do?

Remove the pack, check the green chip is clean and untouched, reseat it level in the tray until it clicks, and restart. If the flag survives that, contact us for a warranty replacement rather than fighting the printer.

Can I run XL magenta with standard packs in the other slots?

Yes. Tiers mix freely position by position. Our shelf is XL in all four colours, but nothing forces a matched set.

Is the colour a match for genuine DURABrite Ultra output?

The pack is filled with pigment ink formulated for this specification and prints the colour the printer asks for. It is a compatible product, honestly labelled — if an exact colour-critical proof is the job, that is the one case where we would point you to genuine ink instead.

My model is the WF-C5790. Is this definitely its magenta?

Yes — the WF-C5790 is one of the four verified models. Do not confuse it with the WF-C579R, which is a different machine on T01C/T01D packs.

How big is the pack in millilitres?

Epson does not publish a millilitre figure for the 902 packs, so we leave the Volume field blank instead of repeating an unverified reseller number. Judge the pack by its verified 5,000-page ISO yield.

What happens if the pack leaks or prints streaks from new?

That is a warranty case: a pack that fails to perform is replaced under the lifetime warranty, and returns are free within the first year.

Single pack or the Set of 4?

The single when magenta alone is low. The Set of 4 refreshes every position at once and costs less than the four singles together.
