Cyan is the colour that quietly decides whether your charts, logos and letterheads look like your brand or a photocopy of it. Our compatible T902XL220 carries DURABrite Ultra pigment cyan ink rated up to 5,000 pages (ISO/IEC 24711) — the same XL rating as the black in this family, which is unusual and worth knowing: on the 902 platform, no colour is the weak rung.

The pack is a RIPS ink pack, not a cartridge: it loads into the tray of a WorkForce Pro WF-C5210, WF-C5290, WF-C5710 or WF-C5790, and the printhead never leaves the printer. It carries a new compatible chip for ink-level reporting. The plain caveat for this platform: this pack carries a new compatible chip. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur — reseating the pack and restarting clears most false warnings. Its siblings are T902XL120 black, T902XL320 magenta and T902XL420 yellow.
Nothing here fits the WF-C4310 or WF-C4810 — those printers take 924 cartridges, a different system with a similar-looking code — and the R models (WF-C529R, WF-C579R) take different packs again. Covered by our lifetime warranty, with free returns for the first year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which printers use the T902XL220?
The four RIPS models verified by Epson for the 902 family: WorkForce Pro WF-C5210, WF-C5290, WF-C5710 and WF-C5790. No other printer takes this pack.
What yield should I expect from this cyan pack?
Up to 5,000 pages on the ISO/IEC 24711 pattern — Epson rates every 902XL colour, cyan included, at the same 5,000 as the black. Graphics-heavy printing will land below the rating; mixed office documents track it best.
Is the ink pigment or dye?
Pigment — DURABrite Ultra, in all four positions of this family. Pigment cyan is what gives colour documents their resistance to smudging and water once dry.
How do I install it?
Unlock and open the front cover, press the ink pack tray until it clicks and pull it out, remove the old pack, shake the new pack before unpacking it, seat it level in the tray, and push the tray back until it clicks. Do not touch the green chip on the pack.
Does it work with the printer's ink-level display?
Yes — the pack carries a new compatible chip that reports levels. This pack carries a new compatible chip. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur; if a level reading or warning looks wrong after an update, reseat the pack and restart before judging it.
Can I replace only the cyan pack?
Yes. RIPS packs are individual: each colour is its own pack and can be changed on its own schedule. There is no combined colour pack in this family.
My cyan prints look faded. Is the pack faulty?
Run the printer's nozzle check first — a clogged nozzle pattern mimics a weak pack. If the pattern is clean and cyan is still pale from a fresh pack, that is a pack problem and the lifetime warranty covers it.
Is there a standard-capacity version?
Epson's catalogue has one (T902220, 3,000 pages). The compatible ladder for this family is XL-only, so Clever Supplies stocks the XL tier; the standard code is named here so you can match it against the pack you are removing.
What if my printer is a WF-C529R?
Then this is the wrong page: the R models use T01C/T01D high-volume packs, not 902 packs. The badge letter matters — WF-C5290 yes, WF-C529R no.
Is this genuine Epson ink?
No. It is a Clever Supplies compatible pack built to the T902XL220 specification, labelled compatible on the box and this page, and backed by our lifetime warranty rather than Epson's.
How is it packaged?
In a Clever Supplies branded box, on a pure white background standard we hold for the inkjet line — the pack inside is labelled with its full code, colour and XL tier.
What are my return options?
Free returns within the first year, and the lifetime warranty beyond it for a pack that fails to perform.
