Magenta is the color of school posters, birthday banners and every red in a family photo, and in the 522 family it comes with the long rating: our compatible T522320-S bottle holds 65 mL of dye magenta ink good for up to 7,500 pages (ISO/IEC 24712, Epson methodology). That's the family pattern — the three colors outlast the 4,500-page black — and it suits how these printers actually live: color in bursts, for projects, then steady text work in between.

Dye ink is what the 522 family runs on in every tank, and magenta shows why: it lays down flat and bright on plain paper for classroom and home-office color, and blends smoothly on glossy photo paper. When this tank runs down, the tells are washed-out reds and a green creep in neutral tones — a refill, not a repair, is the answer.
The bottle follows the EcoFit pattern: keyed to the magenta tank only, auto-stop at full, resealable cap, and no chip to reject. It fits all eight 522 models — ET-2400, ET-2720, ET-2800, ET-2803, ET-2840, ET-4700, ET-4800, ET-4810 — and no other EcoTank family. Backed by our lifetime warranty, with free returns for the first year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Bottle specs, quickly?
T522320-S — 65 mL of dye magenta ink for the 522 family, rated up to 7,500 pages (ISO/IEC 24712, Epson methodology). Fits the eight models listed below.
Reds look dull and prints lean green. Is this the fix?
A low magenta tank does exactly that — reds lose their punch and neutrals pick up a green cast. Refill magenta, run a nozzle check, and reprint a test photo; if the tank was the cause, the cast disappears.
Is this the same as the 502 magenta bottle?
No. 502 magenta (T502320) is a 70 mL, 6,000-page bottle for a different printer family with different keying. Similar code, different bottle — it won't seat in a 522 tank, and this one won't seat in a 502.
Why do the colors last longer than the black in this family?
Epson rated the 522 colors at 7,500 pages and the black at 4,500 on the ISO pattern. In practice most households also print more text than color, so magenta refills are genuinely infrequent.
Is the ink dye or pigment?
Dye, as in every 522 position — Epson's ET-4810 product data lists each color, magenta included, as dye ink. There is no pigment bottle in this family.
Will my ET-4800 (the one with fax and ADF) take it?
Yes. The ET-4800 is a full member of the 522 family — its official specification sheet lists the same 522 bottles and yields as the home models.
Anything electronic to reset?
No chip in the bottle. After refilling, confirm the refill on the printer panel so the level gauge resets; that's the whole procedure.
Can I mix this with magenta left in the tank?
Yes — topping up the same family and color is normal. Never mix families: 522 and 502 inks are different sets, even where the color names match.
How can I tell the tank is low before prints suffer?
The front tank window shows the physical level. Color casts (weak reds, green-leaning grays) usually appear a little before the level reads empty — treat them as the early warning.
Storage for an opened bottle?
Recap tightly, store upright at room temperature, keep out of sunlight.
Is this genuine Epson ink?
No — a Clever Supplies compatible made to the T522320-S specification and labeled compatible on box and page. Not Epson-manufactured.
Cover?
Lifetime warranty on the bottle — replaced if it ever fails to perform — plus free returns in the first year.
