ET-4700 Ink — The 47xx Band Is Split; This Side Is 522

The EcoTank ET-4700's datasheet is explicit about its ink: Ink Technology — Dye Ink, with a box of four 65 mL bottles (black, cyan, yellow, magenta). The ink is the Epson 522 bottle family: four 65 mL dye bottles — black (T522120), cyan (T522220), magenta (T522320) and yellow (T522420). The family's yield pattern runs the opposite way to most: black is rated up to 4,500 pages while each colour runs up to 7,500 pages (ISO/IEC 24712, Epson methodology). All four inks are dye-based — including the black, the family's biggest difference from the 502 line, where black is pigment.

Shopping this band takes care, because the 47xx numbers are divided between two families: the ET-4700, ET-4800 and ET-4810 are 522 printers, while the ET-4750 and ET-4760 are 502 printers with a pigment black and different keying.
