Magenta is the bottle nobody thinks about until a face comes out of the printer looking sunburned. Skin tones, reds, warm sunset light — the ET-7700 and ET-7750 build all of them on this dye, and when the magenta tank fades, portraits drift orange and flowers go flat before any warning light feels urgent. Our compatible T512320-S bottle puts 70 mL of dye magenta back in the tank, rated up to 5,000 pages on the ISO/IEC 24712 pattern with Epson's methodology.

Like every color position in the 512 family, magenta is a dye ink — Epson's chosen formula for photo work, because dye lays down in smooth, blendable layers on glossy paper. Portraits are where that smoothness is judged, and it's why the five-bottle 512 system keeps a separate dye set for images alongside its pigment document black.
Refilling is the EcoTank routine: the bottle's keyed nozzle fits only the magenta tank, the flow stops by itself at full, and there is no chip to be rejected or reset. This bottle serves the two 512 printers — Expression Premium ET-7700 and ET-7750 — and no other family; 502 and 522 magentas are different bottles with different keys. Every Clever Supplies bottle is covered by our lifetime warranty, with free returns for the first year.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the specs of this bottle?
T512320-S: 70 mL of dye magenta ink for the 512 family, rated up to 5,000 pages (ISO/IEC 24712, Epson methodology). It refills the magenta tank of the ET-7700 and ET-7750.
Skin tones in my prints look orange. Will a refill fix it?
If the magenta level is low, very probably — skin tones are built mostly from magenta and yellow, and a starved magenta tank pushes faces toward orange and cyan-heavy scenes toward green. Refill, run a nozzle check, then reprint the same photo to compare.
Is this the same magenta as in the 502 set?
No. The 502 magenta (T502320) is a different bottle — different printer family, different keying, different rating (6,000 pages vs 5,000 here). The codes look alike; the bottles are not interchangeable.
Why dye ink for photos?
Dye ink absorbs into photo paper in even layers, which gives the smooth color transitions photo printing is judged on. Epson specifies dye for all 512 color positions; only the document black is pigment.
Could I use this in a 522 printer like the ET-2800?
No — the 522 family has its own magenta (T522320-S) with different keying. A 512 bottle will not seat in a 522 tank.
Any chips or firmware issues to worry about?
None. Bottle refills are mechanical; there is no chip for firmware to flag and nothing to reset after a refill.
How do I know when magenta is actually empty?
Check the tank window on the printer's front — the 512 printers show physical ink levels. Color casts in prints (orange faces, weak reds) usually appear shortly before the tank reads empty.
Should I replace magenta and yellow together?
Only if both are low. The tanks are independent; refill the one that's down. The 5-bottle set is the option when everything is low at once.
What if I put the bottle on the wrong tank?
You can't, short of forcing it — each nozzle is keyed to its own color position and simply won't seat on another tank.
Storing the remainder of the bottle?
Recap it, keep it upright at room temperature and away from sunlight until the next top-up.
Is this genuine Epson ink?
No, it is a Clever Supplies compatible bottle made to the T512320-S specification, labeled compatible on the box and this page.
What protection comes with it?
A lifetime warranty — a bottle that fails to perform is replaced — plus free returns during the first year.
