Why do my greens look blue lately?

Green is cyan plus yellow. When the yellow tank runs low, greens lose their yellow half and drift blue — the most common early warning of a low yellow bottle on a photo printer. Refill and run a nozzle check before reprinting.

What is this bottle's rating?

70 mL of dye yellow ink, up to 5,000 pages under the ISO/IEC 24712 pattern with Epson's methodology — the same rating Epson gives all three 512 process colors.

Does it fit the ET-7750 as well as the ET-7700?

Yes — both printers use the identical 512 bottle family, this bottle included. The ET-7750 is simply the wide-format (11 x 17) version of the same five-ink system.

How is it different from a 502 yellow?

The 502 yellow (T502420) belongs to a different EcoTank family with a different key and a 6,000-page rating. Similar code, different bottle — it will not seat in a 512 printer.

Dye or pigment?

Dye. In the 512 family only the document black bottle is pigment; Photo Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow are all dye, per Epson's own specification.

Will the printer complain after I refill?

There is no chip and no counter to reset in the bottle itself; you simply confirm the refill on the printer's panel so its level estimate resets. Nothing can be "not recognized."

Can yellow be refilled on its own?

Absolutely — each tank is independent. Refill yellow when yellow is low; order the 5-bottle set only when the whole system needs a reset.

What does a clogged yellow nozzle look like?

Weak or banded yellows and greens that print streaky while other colors look clean. A head-cleaning cycle from the maintenance menu is the first step; a fresh, correctly seated refill rules out an empty tank as the cause.

Is it safe to top up a tank that still has some ink?

Yes — topping up the same family's ink is what EcoTank is designed for. Don't mix families (512 with 502/522); those are different ink sets.

How do I store the rest of the bottle?

Cap tight, upright, room temperature, out of direct sunlight.

Is this a genuine Epson product?
