Frequently Asked Questions
Who honestly needs six 20,000-page color cartridges at once?
A Dell 7130 doing serious color volume — a marketing department, a print-heavy office, a shared workgroup machine that never really rests. At 20,000 rated pages per cartridge, six cartridges are a long supply line, and that is exactly the point: this set is for buyers who reorder colors constantly and would rather stock the shelf once. A 7130 that prints color a few times a week will not get through this box in any reasonable timeframe, and for that machine the 3 color set is the saner purchase.
What does the 6 color set cost per cartridge?
The set is $296.54, an average of about $49.42 per cartridge. Against two of the 3 color sets at $157.52 each ($315.04), it saves $18.50; against six cartridges bought as singles — roughly $388.98 in total — it saves roughly $92.44. The deeper the bundle, the lower the per-cartridge rate, provided your volume actually uses the reserve.
How are the six cartridges divided among the colors?
The six cover the three color positions of the 7130 — cyan 330-6138, magenta 330-6141 and yellow 330-6139 — and the listing does not state an exact count per color, so we will not invent one. What is fixed is the total: six cartridges, every one rated at 20,000 pages, which is up to 120,000 pages of rated color capacity in the box. There is no black cartridge included; black for this machine is sold separately.
Does toner go stale sitting in a supply closet?
Kept sealed in its packaging, away from heat and direct sunlight, a spare cartridge simply waits. The practical discipline is rotation: when a color runs out, take the oldest matching spare rather than the newest box. Each cartridge in this set is covered individually by a one-year warranty and one-year free returns, set out on our shipping & returns page.
Are these Dell originals?
No — they are compatible cartridges made to the 330-6138, 330-6141 and 330-6139 specifications and sold under our own brand. That is the whole reason a six-cartridge, 20,000-page color supply can sit at $296.54 instead of original-brand pricing, and it changes nothing about the coverage: the warranty and returns terms above apply to every cartridge in the box.
Where will the set ship from, and what if we need help?
We send it from the closest of our four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California. Support runs Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Central if a question comes up before or after delivery, and singles, the 3 color set and the rest of the range for this machine are all reachable from the Dell brand page.
About This 7130 6 Color Set
The stock-up option for a hard-working Dell 7130: six cartridges across the cyan 330-6138, magenta 330-6141 and yellow 330-6139 positions, each rated at 20,000 pages, for $296.54 — about $49.42 a cartridge. It rewards genuine color volume with the lowest per-cartridge price in this family. If your 7130's color use is occasional, be honest with the math and take the 3 color set instead; this box earns its keep only when the reserve round actually gets used.
