Frequently Asked Questions

Our prints have started looking cold and blue — could the yellow cartridge be empty?

That is a classic yellow-depletion symptom. When the 330-6139 runs low, warm tones are the first casualty: skin tones go gray-green, reds slide toward magenta, and yellows and oranges lose their body while text stays perfectly sharp. Before blaming the printer itself, check the 7130's supply status for the yellow position — a fading 330-6139 explains this exact color shift, and swapping in a fresh cartridge is the fastest way to confirm it.

How much printing does the 20,000-page rating translate to?

Twenty thousand pages is about 40 reams of paper. Spread across a working year, that is a cartridge most offices change only a handful of times; at 250 pages a day it lasts roughly 80 working days. The rating follows the standard industry test with modest page coverage, so a shop printing full-color flyers all day will land below it, while a text-and-charts office can land close. Either way, the 330-6139 at $63.33 works out to roughly $3.17 per thousand pages.

Is this a genuine Dell part?

No — the 330-6139 sold here is a compatible cartridge made to Dell's specification for the yellow position, sold under the Clever Supplies brand. It is built new, not refilled, and a one-year warranty covers it. The reason it exists is the price: genuine-brand production cartridges carry genuine-brand pricing, while this one delivers the same 20,000-page rated capacity for $63.33.

Can I swap only the yellow cartridge in a 7130?

Yes. The 7130 uses four separate cartridges, one per color, and each is replaced on its own schedule. If yellow is the color reporting low, the 330-6139 is the only cartridge you touch — the black, cyan and magenta cartridges keep working through whatever life they have left. There is no need to buy or install a matched set.

What protection do I have if the cartridge is faulty?

A one-year warranty covers defects, and returns are free for a full year, so a bad cartridge never becomes your expense. The complete policy is spelled out on our shipping & returns page. If you are not sure whether a color problem is the cartridge or the machine, our team can help you sort it out Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, before you spend anything.

How quickly can I get a replacement to my office?

Orders ship from four regional warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California — so the cartridge travels from the location nearest you rather than a single national depot. That keeps transit short for most of the country. When you are restocking, the rest of the cartridges for this machine are collected on our Dell toner page.

About This 330-6139 Yellow Cartridge

The 330-6139 is the yellow cartridge for Dell's 7130 production color laser printers, rated at 20,000 pages and offered here at $63.33 — about a third of a cent per page at rated coverage. This is the code-named single-cartridge listing; there are no pack steps to weigh, just one cartridge that drops into the yellow position when warm colors start to fade. It is a Clever Supplies compatible cartridge with a one-year warranty and one year of free returns behind it, fulfilled from our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California.
