Frequently Asked Questions

Who buys five 30,000-page cartridges in one order?

Facilities and office managers who treat toner as stocked inventory rather than a recurring errand. Five 310-7238 cartridges total 150,000 rated pages for Dell 5310 printers — enough to keep a small fleet or one exceptionally busy production machine supplied across a long planning cycle, with reorder decisions made on schedule instead of under pressure.

What does the 5-pack pricing do per cartridge and per page?

The pack is $732.55, which is $146.51 per cartridge against $161.30 for a single — $73.95 saved versus five separate purchases. Over 150,000 rated pages the cost per page drops to about 0.49 cents, the second-lowest figure in this cartridge's range. For a cost center that reports cost-per-page, that movement is the argument for buying at this level.

Honestly — when is the 5-pack too much?

When a single lightly used 5310 is the whole story. At low volume, five cartridges can represent years of stock, tying up $732.55 and shelf space, and the inventory risks outliving the printer it feeds. Our single and smaller packs exist for that profile. This quantity earns its discount only where measured page counts say the pages will actually be printed.

How should a stock of five be managed?

Like any stores item: sealed and flat in a cool, dry room, boxes dated on arrival, issued oldest-first, and logged against the printer each cartridge enters. With 150,000 pages in play, the log is also your early-warning system — consumption that suddenly accelerates on one 5310 is information worth having before it becomes a repair bill.

What warranty and returns terms cover the pack?

All five cartridges are individually covered by our one-year warranty and one-year free returns, so a faulty unit discovered late in the cycle is treated exactly like one found on day one. Details are on our shipping and returns page, and support runs Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Central.

Are these original Dell cartridges?

No, they are compatible 310-7238 cartridges made to the Dell 5310's specification, offered across our Dell toner range. Orders are fulfilled from our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California warehouses. At fleet quantities, the compatible price difference is substantial, and the warranty is the commitment behind it.
