Frequently Asked Questions
What does this 4 pack save against buying the drums in pairs?
Each 330-2663 drum unit in this pack works out at $39.65, against $44.27 a unit in the 2 pack — that is $4.62 less per drum. Put against two 2 packs at $177.08 in total, this $158.60 pack saves you $18.48 for exactly the same four drum units, and it arrives as one order instead of two.
What does 120,000 pages of drum life actually cover?
Four drums at 30,000 pages each give you 120,000 pages of drum capacity — 240 reams of paper. On a single hard-working printer that is years of cover; spread across several machines that all take the 330-2663, it is a shared pool you draw from whenever one printer's drum reaches the end of its life.
Who genuinely needs four drum units at once?
Honestly, not every buyer. This pack suits offices running more than one of the printers listed below, departments with heavy monthly volume, and anyone responsible for keeping shared printers up without waiting on deliveries. If you run one lightly used machine, a smaller pack will cover you for a long time — four drums only makes sense when the pages or the printers are really there.
How should I use and store four drums so none are wasted?
Fit one drum, keep the other three sealed in their packaging in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, and work through them in order as each fitted drum wears out. The drum surface is light-sensitive, so a sealed unit stays in its protective bag until the moment it goes into the printer. Used that way, a 4 pack is simply drum changes lined up in advance, each one good for its full 30,000-page rating.
Are these original Dell drums, and what protection is included?
No — they are compatible drum units manufactured to the 330-2663 specification and sold under our Clever Supplies brand, which is how four units land at $158.60. Every drum in the pack carries a one-year warranty and one-year free returns; if one fails to perform within the year, it goes back at no cost to you, as set out on our shipping and returns page.
