Frequently Asked Questions

How is this 6 color set put together?

Six cartridges spanning the three color positions of a Dell 1320 series color laser — the cyan 310-9060, the magenta 310-9064 and the yellow 310-9062. The listing does not pin down an exact per-color split, so think of it as six cartridges covering those three slots rather than a promised count of each color; if the exact split matters for your stockroom planning, our support team can confirm it before you order. There is no black cartridge in the set — black is stocked separately.

What does the 6-pack save over smaller orders?

Two of the 3 color sets would cost $68.44; this 6-pack is $49.96, a saving of $18.48, and the average per cartridge drops to about $8.33 against $11.41 in the 3-pack and $23.74 for a single. Measured against six singles at $142.44, the saving grows to $92.48. The math rewards one planned purchase over a string of emergency ones.

Who actually goes through six color cartridges?

An office whose 1320 prints color every day — quotes with charts, classroom handouts, marketing flyers — and cannot afford a dead printer while a replacement ships. Each color cartridge is rated at 2,000 pages, so six cartridges represent a deep bench: a working set in the machine and spares on the shelf. A home user who prints a few color pages a month will not see the bottom of this box for a very long time, and the smaller 3 color set is the more sensible buy there.

How should the spare cartridges be stored?

Keep them sealed in their packaging, flat, in a cool dry cupboard away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Toner does not dry out the way ink does, so a sealed spare waits patiently — install by need rather than by any date, and rotate the shelf so the oldest box is used first.

Does one empty color mean swapping all three?

No. The printer flags each slot separately, and you change only the cartridge it names. The spares simply sit ready, so a low-color warning becomes a two-minute swap instead of a paused print queue and a rush order. That continuity — not just the price — is the real point of the 6-pack.

What if a cartridge from the set misbehaves months from now?

Each cartridge is covered individually by a one-year warranty with one-year free returns, so a problem with a spare you install later is handled the same way as one installed on day one; the details live on our shipping & returns page. Orders leave from whichever of our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California is nearest you, and support answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Central.

About This Dell 1320 6 Color Set

This is the stock-up option for a hard-working Dell 1320 series color laser: six compatible cartridges across the cyan 310-9060, magenta 310-9064 and yellow 310-9062 positions, each cartridge rated at 2,000 pages, for $49.96 against $68.44 as two 3-packs or $142.44 as singles. Black is not included and is restocked on its own cycle. The set fits an office that treats color toner as a supply-cabinet staple; lighter users are served just as honestly by the 3 color set.
