Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this 6 color set really for?

Owners of Dell's compact color lasers — the 1250c family and its 1350cnw, 1355cn, 1355cnw, 1755nf, 1755nfw, C1760nw and C1765nf relatives — who print color often enough that a low-color warning is a monthly event, not a surprise. Six cartridges covering the cyan 331-0777, magenta 331-0780 and yellow 331-0779 positions mean a full round installed plus spares waiting, instead of a purchase every time a slot runs dry. The listing does not promise an exact per-color split, so plan around six cartridges across the three color positions.

What does buying six at once save?

Two 3 color sets cost $77.48; this 6-pack is $59.00 — $18.48 less, with the average per cartridge falling to about $9.83 against $12.91 in the 3-pack. Against six singles at $25.24 each ($151.44 in total), the saving reaches $92.44. Frequent color printing is exactly where this arithmetic compounds, because the orders keep coming either way.

Is black included in the six?

No — and it is worth being plain about that. This set is the three colors only: 331-0777 cyan, 331-0780 magenta and 331-0779 yellow. The black cartridge for these machines runs on its own, usually faster, schedule and is stocked separately. Budget for the two cycles independently and neither will catch you out.

How long will six 1,400-page cartridges last?

Each cartridge is rated at 1,400 pages under standard 5% coverage, so the box holds a substantial reserve for a compact machine. How long that stretches depends entirely on your color mix: a desk printing the odd chart sips toner, while one producing full-color handouts daily draws the colors down quickly. Because the colors deplete unevenly, having all three positions covered in reserve matters more than any single page count.

Can I install just one cartridge and keep the rest?

Yes — that is the intended way to use it. Change only the slot the printer flags and leave the remaining cartridges sealed; toner does not dry out in the box, so a spare bought today is still a spare next season. Store them flat in a cool, dry place and use the oldest first.

What support stands behind a stock-up purchase?

Every cartridge carries its own one-year warranty and one-year free returns, whenever it happens to be installed; the terms are on our shipping & returns page. Shipments leave from our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses, and our support team is reachable Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Central if a question comes up between orders.

About This Dell 1250 6 Color Set

This 6-pack keeps a busy Dell compact color laser — 1250c, 1350cnw, 1355cn or 1355cnw, 1755nf or 1755nfw, C1760nw or C1765nf — supplied across the cyan 331-0777, magenta 331-0780 and yellow 331-0779 positions, each cartridge rated at 1,400 pages, for $59.00 against $77.48 as two 3-packs or $151.44 as singles. Black is not part of the set and cycles separately. For an occasional color printer the 3 color set is the proportionate buy; this box is for machines whose color output is a daily habit.
