Frequently Asked Questions

If one cartridge of the pair misbehaves, what actually happens?

The warranty treats each cartridge as its own product: if either Canon 067 black (5102C001) in this pack fails under normal use within a year — defective output, premature failure, a fault on arrival — that cartridge is replaced or refunded under our one-year warranty, and returns are free within the year as well. The healthy cartridge is yours to keep printing with; a claim on one never obliges you to send back both.

Where are those terms written down?

On our shipping and returns page, in plain language, alongside the returns process. If anything is unclear, our support team — Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST — can walk through your specific case before you send anything anywhere.

Now the value question: what does the pair save an MF657CDW owner?

Two singles at $64.27 total $128.54; this pack is $110.07, so each cartridge is $55.04 and the saving is $18.47. Across the pair's combined 2,700 rated pages the cost per page improves from about 4.76¢ to roughly 4.08¢. Compact color laser pages are never bargain pages — but the pack is the economical way to buy them for this printer.

What exactly am I getting for the MF657CDW?

Two standard-yield compatible Canon 067 black toner cartridges, part number 5102C001, each rated at 1,350 pages, for the Color imageCLASS MF657CDW. Black only: the 067 cyan (5101C001), magenta (5100C001) and yellow (5099C001) are the machine's separate color cartridges, and a high-yield 067H black (5106C001) exists for heavier duty.

How should the second cartridge be kept until the first is done?

Sealed, flat, cool and dry — a drawer or cupboard away from heat. Toner is dry powder, so the standby 5102C001 does not deteriorate while it waits; when the installed cartridge fades for good, the spare fits and prints at full rated quality. Keep its box, too — it makes storing and, if ever needed, returning the cartridge simpler.

Who is this pack really for?

MF657CDW owners who print documents regularly enough that an empty black cartridge is an interruption, not a curiosity. The pair converts toner from a recurring small emergency into a stocked supply — and the per-cartridge discount means the convenience costs less than the ad-hoc way of buying.
