Frequently Asked Questions

After we fit this set, will all four cartridges empty on the same day?

No — and that is by design. The four Canon 067 cartridges start together but live separate lives: the MF656CDW spends them at different rates depending on what you print. Expect them to finish at staggered times, and simply replace each one as it goes. The set is a starting line, not a synchronised clock.

Which one is likely to last longest?

On paper, the black (5102C001) carries the largest rating at 1,350 pages, against 1,250 pages for each colour. In a text-heavy office that usually plays out as rated. In a colour-heavy one, a colour can easily finish first — ratings measure capacity, your documents decide the order.

What are we fitting today, exactly?

One of each Canon 067 cartridge for the MF656CDW: black 5102C001, cyan 5101C001, magenta 5100C001 and yellow 5099C001 — the printer's complete toner family in a single box.

What does starting with the set save us?

The four singles together cost $257.08; the set is $201.64, so the starting line costs $55.44 less. Later replacements, bought singly as each colour finishes, are the same cartridges at their normal prices — the set does not lock you into anything.

Can we mix set cartridges and singles over the printer's life?

Freely. They are the same Canon 067 cartridges either way; the set is simply the four of them bought together at a better price. Many offices start with a set, then top up with singles for years.

What cover and support come with it?

A 1-year warranty on each cartridge and 1-year free returns, with the terms on our shipping and returns page. Support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and orders ship from our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California.
