Frequently Asked Questions

For a busy MF656CDW, is the set or a run of singles the smarter money?

The set, and not by a whisker. This box holds all four Canon 067H cartridges — black 5106C001, cyan 5105C001, magenta 5104C001, yellow 5103C001 — for $152.16, which works out to $38.04 a cartridge. The same four bought singly total $207.60, with the colors at $51.90 each. That is $55.44 saved on day one, before counting the avoided rush orders a busy shared machine otherwise generates whenever a color fades mid-week.

How should we read the two yield figures in the set — 3,130 and 2,350?

As two classes doing two jobs. The black cartridge is rated at 3,130 pages; each color is rated at 2,350 pages. Black text dominates most office output, so the black is built to run longer; the colors serve the graphics and empty on their own, faster cycles. We deliberately avoid adding the four ratings into one total — they will never be spent simultaneously, and a summed figure would only set an expectation reality would break. Budget by class and the set behaves exactly as described.

What does the set save against the standard-yield 067 line?

More than its own price tag suggests. Standard 067 colors cost $64.27 apiece, so three standard colors alone total $192.81 — over $40 more than this complete 067H set at $152.16, black included. Each 067H color is also rated at 2,350 pages to the standard's 1,250, so the set halves the replacement frequency of the standard line while underpricing it. Against the standard family, the set is cheaper to buy, cheaper to run, and slower to empty.

Do the four cartridges need to go into the MF656CDW together?

They do not. The set is a way of buying, not a way of installing. Each Canon 067H cartridge drops in independently when its own level gives out — on a busy machine that might be the magenta this month, the yellow next quarter. The cartridges still in the box are simply stock, sealed and patient. Nothing is wasted by staggering them; quite the opposite.

How do we check the set against our machine before ordering?

Read any cartridge currently installed: Canon 067H and one of the codes 5106C001, 5105C001, 5104C001, or 5103C001 confirms the family this set completes. If the MF656CDW has been running the standard 067 line, this is its high-yield counterpart family for the same machine — and the set is that family's best-value way to buy it.

What warranty and delivery terms apply?

All four cartridges carry a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns; the terms are on our shipping & returns page. The set ships from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia, or California, whichever warehouse is closest, and our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This Canon MF656CDW 067H Four-Cartridge Set

Built for the Canon imageCLASS MF656CDW, this set carries the complete compatible Canon 067H family: the black 5106C001 rated at 3,130 pages, and cyan 5105C001, magenta 5104C001, and yellow 5103C001 rated at 2,350 pages each. It costs $152.16 — $55.44 less than the four cartridges bought singly at $207.60, and less than three standard-yield color cartridges on their own. The yields are quoted by class rather than summed into a single total, because the black is designed to outlast each color and the four will empty on four separate occasions; the set's promise is that each replacement is already on site when its occasion arrives. Every cartridge is covered by our 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns. See the rest of the range on our Canon toner page.

Compatibility stretches across the MF655CW, MF656CDW, LBP-631C, LBP-632CDW, LBP-633CDW, MF651CW, MF653CDW, MF654CDW and MF655CDW. Each cartridge also stands alone: the Canon 067H cyan cartridge, the Canon 067H magenta cartridge, the Canon 067H yellow cartridge and the Canon 067H black cartridge. Prefer the other yield class as a set? That is the Canon 067 four-color cartridge set.
