Frequently Asked Questions

How do I plan toner for the D1320 around our monthly volume?

Start from the rating: this C120BK is rated for 5,000 pages. Divide by your monthly output to get your cartridge life — 400 pages a month means roughly a year per cartridge, 800 a month means about six months, 1,600 a month means around three. Put the swap month on the calendar and the D1320's toner stops being a surprise.

What is the D1320's cartridge called?

The Canon 120 — order code C120BK. One black cartridge covers everything the machine prints; there are no companion colour cartridges in this model, so your supply planning has exactly one line in it.

At $32.42, what is the real per-page figure?

About 0.65 cents per page at the rated yield. Real-world coverage nudges that figure — dense documents use more toner per page, light drafts less — but as a planning number for the D1320's black-and-white workload, 0.65 cents is the honest baseline this compatible Canon 120 gives you.

When should the replacement order actually go in?

When the low-toner warning first appears, not when pages fade. The warning leaves you a working reserve, and orders ship from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, so the new C120BK typically arrives with pages to spare. If you keep one sealed spare in the cupboard instead, the warning becomes a swap-now, order-when-convenient routine.

What cover does this cartridge carry?

The same as every compatible cartridge we sell: a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns. The wording is on our shipping and returns page, and if you would rather ask a person, support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

Do the bigger packs make planning easier?

They change the interval, not the arithmetic per cartridge class: the multi-packs of this same C120BK lower the per-cartridge price below $32.42 and stretch the time between orders. High-volume D1320s usually end up there; light users are fine buying singly on the calendar rhythm above.
