Frequently Asked Questions

What do I actually save by buying two at once?

Two single C120BK cartridges bought separately would cost $64.84. This 2-pack is $46.36, so you keep $18.48, and each cartridge works out to $23.18 instead of $32.42. It is the first step down the price ladder for the Canon 120, and you get it without committing to a big box of stock.

What does that do to my cost per page?

Each cartridge in this pack is still rated for 5,000 pages, so the pair covers 10,000 pages in total. At $23.18 a cartridge, your cost per page falls from about 0.65 cents to roughly 0.46 cents — the same Canon 120 output, bought a little smarter.

Will the second cartridge go stale sitting on my shelf?

Toner is a dry powder, not a liquid ink, so it does not dry out the way inkjet cartridges do. Keep the spare C120BK sealed in its packaging, stored flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and it will be ready when the first cartridge runs out — that one-in-the-printer, one-on-the-shelf rhythm is exactly what this pack is built for.

Is two the right number, or should I buy a bigger pack?

If one cartridge lasts you several months, a 2-pack is the sweet spot: a real saving, one spare always on hand, and no large outlay. Offices that burn through a Canon 120 cartridge every few weeks will save more per cartridge with the larger packs in this range; occasional printers are better served by this pair.

Both cartridges are covered, even the one I open months later?

Yes. The pack carries our standard cover for compatible cartridges — a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns — and it applies to the cartridges in the box, not just the first one you open. Details are on the shipping and returns page.

How fast will the pack reach me?

We ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, so most orders travel a short distance. If a question comes up before or after delivery, our support team answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This Canon 120 (C120BK) Black Toner Cartridge — 2-Pack

The 2-pack is the Canon 120 bought the way most steady printers actually consume it: one C120BK cartridge working in the machine and one waiting in the cupboard. Both cartridges fit the same family of machines — the imageCLASS D1120, D1150, D1170, D1180, D1320, D1350, D1370, D1520 and D1550 — so the spare is never the wrong one. At $46.36 for the pair — $23.18 per cartridge against $32.42 bought singly — you save $18.48 across 10,000 pages of rated output and drop your page cost to about 0.46 cents. It is a modest box with a sensible job: no emergency orders, no empty-printer mornings, and a lower price for thinking one cartridge ahead.
