Frequently Asked Questions

Why three? What is the logic of this pack size?

Three cartridges is roughly a season's supply for an office with steady paperwork — statements, invoices and correspondence ticking over week after week. The 3-pack of C120BK cartridges costs $60.28, which is $20.09 per cartridge, and it keeps the reorder conversation down to a few times a year instead of a standing chore.

Run the numbers for me against buying singles.

Three Canon 120 cartridges bought one at a time would come to $97.26. This pack is $60.28, so the saving is $36.98, and each cartridge drops from $32.42 to $20.09. Across the pack's 15,000 rated pages, your cost per page lands at about 0.40 cents, compared with roughly 0.65 cents buying singly.

How many pages does the whole pack cover?

Every C120BK in the box is rated for 5,000 pages, so three cartridges give you 15,000 pages of black-and-white printing before you need to think about toner again. For a printer handling around 1,000 pages a month, that is well over a year of output in a single delivery.

How should I store two spares at a time?

Leave them sealed, stacked flat, in a cool dry cupboard — toner powder keeps well as long as the cartridge stays in its wrapper and out of heat and sunlight. Rotate your stock: when the working cartridge empties, promote the oldest spare, so no C120BK sits forgotten at the back for years.

What if one of the three turns out to be a dud?

Then it comes back. These are compatible cartridges covered by our 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, and the cover is not limited to the first cartridge you open. The process is spelled out on our shipping and returns page, and support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if you would rather talk it through.

Where does my order ship from?

From whichever of our warehouses in IL, PA, GA or CA makes the most sense for your address, so the box is not crossing the whole country to reach you.
