Frequently Asked Questions

What is the stockroom maths on ten cartridges?

Ten C120BK cartridges bought singly would cost $324.20. This 10-pack is $157.80 — $15.78 per cartridge, which is $16.64 less per cartridge than the single price, and $166.40 saved across the box. Each cartridge is rated for 5,000 pages, so you are looking at 50,000 pages of Canon 120 output at roughly 0.32 cents a page, the lowest rate in this range.

Who is a 10-pack genuinely right for?

Buyers with predictable, heavy volume: a printer (or several printers taking the same C120BK) that clears a cartridge every few weeks, and someone responsible for keeping it fed. If your machine uses one cartridge a year, this pack is more stock than sense — the smaller packs exist for you. At real volume, though, the $15.78 cartridge price is hard to argue with.

How much shelf are we talking about?

Ten individually packaged cartridges, so plan a proper shelf or cupboard section rather than a drawer. Keep them sealed, flat and stacked in order, in a cool dry spot away from radiators and sunlit windows. Toner keeps well in its packaging; the discipline that matters is rotation — always take from the front so the oldest Canon 120 cartridge goes into the printer first.

What is a sensible reorder point for stock this size?

Most stockrooms work on a floor of two: when the second-to-last C120BK leaves the shelf, the next order goes in. At heavy volume a cartridge buys you weeks, and with shipping from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses the replacement pack arrives long before the last cartridge is spent.

If a cartridge deep in the box is faulty, am I stuck with it?

No. These compatible cartridges carry our 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, and the cover runs with the cartridges, not with the delivery date of the first one you opened. The steps are on our shipping and returns page, and support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

Is there any difference between these and the single cartridges?

None in the cartridge itself. A C120BK from this pack is the same compatible unit as the one sold singly — same Canon 120 fit, same 5,000-page rating. Fit-wise, the ten in this box serve the same printers a single does: the imageCLASS D1120, D1150, D1170, D1180, D1320, D1350, D1370, D1520 and D1550. The only thing that changes with pack size is the price per cartridge, and at ten, that change is at its largest.
