Frequently Asked Questions
Who should NOT buy this 10-pack?
Anyone whose machine prints a few thousand pages a month. Ten GPR-42 cartridges hold 342,000 pages — at light volume that is many years of stock, with cash sitting on a shelf and the one-year warranty and returns window long expired before the later cartridges are even opened. For those users the smaller packs are simply the right tool.
And who is it right for?
Sustained, measurable heavy volume. At $660.24 the pack brings the per-cartridge price down to $66.02 and the rated cost to about 0.19 cents per page — the lowest in the GPR-42 family — saving $166.36 against ten single purchases. If your meter history shows the machine genuinely working through tens of thousands of pages a month, this is the efficient way to feed it.
How do we sanity-check the volume before ordering?
Take the machine's page counter readings across the last three months and annualise them. If the yearly black total is in the region of 342,000 pages, the pack matches a year of work. If it is a fraction of that, step down the ladder — the 3-pack and 5-pack keep most of the per-cartridge benefit without the over-commitment.
How should ten cartridges be stored and rotated?
Sealed, flat, in a cool dry store, used strictly oldest-first — dating the cartons on arrival makes rotation foolproof. The risk to manage with stock this deep is not the toner; it is losing track of which cartridges have waited longest.
What cover applies across such a long stock life?
Each cartridge carries the standard one-year warranty and one-year free returns from purchase — which is precisely why the volume check matters: the pack is designed to be consumed well inside that year by a machine working at production pace. Terms are on the shipping and returns page.
Can this stock cover more than one machine?
Yes, if the machines share the GPR-42 specification — the cartridges are identical GPR42BK units. Machines on the GPR-43 or GPR-38 families cannot draw from it. Support can help confirm before you order: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, with warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA.
