Frequently Asked Questions

Why do offices settle into a three-cartridge rhythm with this pack?

Three Canon GPR-22 black cartridges (GPR22BK) hold 25,200 pages. A department printing around 2,000 pages a week works through that in about a quarter — which makes this pack a natural fit for quarterly supply ordering: one order at the start of the quarter, no mid-quarter scrambles, and a reorder conversation that happens on a schedule instead of in a panic.

What does buying three at once do to the price?

The pack is $76.12 against $113.10 for three singles bought one at a time — $36.98 saved. Per cartridge the price falls to $25.37, and the running cost drops to roughly 0.30 cents per page, down from about 0.45 cents on single-cartridge ordering. The saving comes purely from pack size; every cartridge is the same 8,400-page GPR22BK.

How should three cartridges be rotated through the machine?

Simple first-in, first-out discipline: keep the cartridges sealed in the supply cupboard, take the oldest one when the machine calls for a change, and note the date the last one goes in — that date is your reorder trigger for the next quarter's pack. Nothing here needs a spreadsheet; the pack size itself does most of the planning.

If one cartridge in the box turns out to be faulty, are the other two affected?

No. The warranty applies cartridge by cartridge, so a problem with one unit is handled on that unit alone — the remaining stock stays in service and the machine keeps printing. Returns are free within the first year; the process is described on our shipping and returns page.

Is this genuine Canon stock?

It is compatible stock, built to the Canon GPR-22 (GPR22BK) specification and sold under our own brand rather than Canon's. The cartridges install as the originals do and are rated at the same 8,400 pages each — the lower price reflects the branding, not a reduced yield.

What if the quarter runs heavier than expected and we empty the box early?

Reorders are dispatched from whichever of our four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California — is closest to you, so a top-up order is a routine delivery rather than a long wait. If heavy quarters become the pattern, the 5 pack and 10 pack take the per-cartridge price down further still.
