Frequently Asked Questions

We run several machines on the same cartridge — is one 5 pack the sensible way to stock them?

Usually, yes. When a fleet of imageRUNNER machines all take the Canon GPR-22 black cartridge (GPR22BK), a shared 5 pack turns five separate supply worries into one pool of 42,000 pages. Any machine that runs dry draws from the same box, stock is counted in one place, and purchasing deals with a single line item instead of a drip of individual orders.

What does the 5 pack save against five separate orders?

Five singles total $188.50. This pack is $114.54, saving $73.96 — each cartridge works out to $22.91, and the pooled running cost lands at roughly 0.27 cents per page. Across a fleet consuming cartridges steadily, that per-cartridge gap is the difference between toner as a minor line and toner as a recurring irritation.

How do we keep track of five cartridges moving between machines?

Keep it simple: the box lives in one cupboard, whoever takes a cartridge notes the date and the machine, and the count in the box is the stock level. When the fourth cartridge goes out, the shelf holds one buffer unit and it is time to reorder. That one-buffer rule keeps a multi-machine office from ever discovering an empty box at the moment a machine stops.

What cover is there if a cartridge fails on one of the machines?

The 1-year warranty applies to each cartridge individually, whichever machine it was installed in, and returns are free within the first year. The claims route is laid out on our shipping and returns page, and the remaining cartridges in the pool keep the rest of the fleet running in the meantime.

Are these genuine Canon cartridges?

No. They are compatible GPR22BK cartridges built to the Canon GPR-22 specification and sold under our own brand. Same fit, same 8,400-page rating per cartridge — the fleet saving comes from buying compatibles in a fleet-sized pack, not from any difference in what goes into the machine.

Does ordering five at a time slow delivery down?

No — packs are dispatched from the nearest of our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California warehouses like any other order, and our support team is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if an order needs chasing.
