Frequently Asked Questions

We have two imageCLASS machines — is this pack split between them?

That is one of the most sensible ways to use it. Both cartridges are the standard Canon 118 (part number 2662B001AA), each rated at 3,400 pages, and they work in any machine on the platform — an MF8380CDW in the front office and an LBP7660CDN in accounts, for example, take exactly the same cartridge. One order restocks both machines, and at $52.73 for the pair you pay $26.37 per cartridge instead of the $35.60 single price. Offices with matched machines standardize on one cartridge for a reason: nobody ever grabs the wrong box.

How do we manage rotation so no cartridge sits too long?

Simple rule: oldest first. Mark the delivery month on each box with a pen, and always install the earlier box when a machine runs dry. Sealed cartridges store well — keep them flat, in their bags, in a cool dry cupboard away from heat and sunlight, and a cartridge bought today will print perfectly when its turn comes many months from now. Rotation only becomes a real concern with much larger packs; with two, ordinary use keeps stock moving.

What is the cost per page across the pack?

The pair is rated for 6,800 pages in total (3,400 per cartridge at 5% coverage), and at $52.73 that is roughly 0.78 cents per page — against about 1.05 cents per page buying singles. Scale that over a year: an office printing 8,000 black pages spends noticeably less feeding both machines from packs than from single-cartridge orders, and places fewer orders doing it. The saving against two singles is $18.47 per pack, every pack, which compounds quietly across a fleet.

Can I check compatibility for our exact models before ordering?

Yes — match the part number. If either machine's manual or current cartridge says 2662B001AA, this pack fits it. The platform covers the imageCLASS MF8350, MF8350CDN, MF8380, MF8380CDW, MF8330, MF8330CDN and MF8580CDW multifunction models and the LBP7200, LBP7200CDN, LBP7660 and LBP7660CDN printers. If you are unsure about a specific model, our team can confirm it before you order — support is staffed Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

What happens if a cartridge underperforms?

Every cartridge carries a 1-year warranty against defects plus 1-year free returns, and the two cartridges in the pack are covered independently — a problem with one never obliges you to send back the other. Terms are spelled out on our shipping and returns page. And before assuming a defect, try the classic fix: remove the cartridge, rock it gently side to side to redistribute settled toner, and print a few test pages.

How quickly can we get the pack?

It ships from the closest of our four US warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California — so transit is a domestic delivery, not an import. For a two-machine office, that speed matters less than the pack itself: with one cartridge installed and one in the cupboard per machine pair, the next toner run-out is an errand, not an emergency.
