Frequently Asked Questions

What does a five-cartridge high-yield set do for a busy printer?

It stretches every interval. The cartridges here are TN115 high-yield units — black rated at 5,000 pages, colors at 4,000 pages each — and the set carries five of them across the family's four codes (TN115BK, TN115C, TN115M, TN115Y). For a machine in daily color service, that combination means months between toner orders instead of weeks.

How does this compare with the standard-yield five-pack?

Same set price, $153.43, and the same four cartridge codes — but every cartridge carries the high-yield fill: black at 5,000 pages rather than 2,500, colors at 4,000 rather than 1,500. If your printer does real color volume, the TN115 version of this set simply lasts far longer before any slot needs attention.

Which printers run this set?

It fits the Brother color laser printers built around the TN110/TN115 cartridge family: DCP-9040CN, DCP-9045CDN, HL-4040CDN, HL-4040CN, HL-4070CDW, MFC-9440CN and MFC-9450CDN. Those machines accept the TN115 cartridges in the same slots as the standard TN110s, so upgrading a whole set to high yield needs no change to the printer itself.

Do the five cartridges have to go in together?

No — install them as the printer asks. Each cartridge is individually sealed and tracked separately by the machine. A common pattern is to load the black and the fastest-moving color right away and hold the remaining cartridges as shelf stock for the next two changes.

How long can the uninstalled cartridges wait?

A long time, stored properly: sealed, flat, in a cool dry place away from sunlight and heat. Toner is a dry powder and does not spoil the way liquid ink can. Give a long-stored cartridge a gentle side-to-side rock before installing so the powder sits evenly, and it will deliver its rated yield.

What warranty and returns back this set?

All five cartridges carry a 1-year warranty, with 1-year free returns under our shipping & returns policy. Stock ships from our IL, PA, GA or CA warehouses, and support is on hand 9 AM – 5 PM CST if you want help matching the set to your model.
