The full super-high reset for the five mid-size printers: LC107BK black with LC105C, LC105M and LC105Y colors — every cartridge rated up to 1,200 pages under ISO/IEC 24711, stated per cartridge and never summed. Note the shape of the tier: the colors are LC105, the black is LC107 — there is no LC105BK.

The set fits MFC-J4310DW, MFC-J4410DW, MFC-J4510DW, MFC-J4610DW and MFC-J4710DW. It does not fit the three ledger models — their black is the LC109BK, sold in our source range as an original only — and it does not fit the nine smaller models, whose ceiling is LC103.
Every cartridge in this family carries a new compatible chip. Brother's own help pages for this platform describe the small green chip on top of the genuine cartridge and the "Cannot Detect" message that appears when a chip is not read — so handle the cartridge by its housing, never touch the green chip contact, and seat it firmly until it clicks. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur; reseating the cartridge and restarting the printer clears most of them, and we do not promise recognition on every firmware version. Covered by our lifetime warranty, with free returns for the first year.

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is in this Set of 4 box?
Four individual super-high-yield cartridges: 1 × LC107BK Black, 1 × LC105C Cyan, 1 × LC105M Magenta, 1 × LC105Y Yellow — the complete super-high tier for the five mid-size models. There is no 'LC105 black' in the box because Brother never made one; the black of this tier is the LC107BK.
How many pages does the set print?
Per cartridge, never summed: black up to 1,200 pages; each color up to 1,200 pages (ISO/IEC 24711). It is the only tier in this family where every slot carries the same rating.
Which printers does this set fit?
Five models: MFC-J4310DW, MFC-J4410DW, MFC-J4510DW, MFC-J4610DW and MFC-J4710DW. The three ledger models need the LC109BK black instead, and the nine smaller models take no super-high tier at all.
Will my printer recognize this compatible cartridge?
This cartridge carries a new compatible chip. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur — remove the cartridge, check that the green chip contact is clean and untouched, reseat it firmly, and restart the printer. Brother's own "Cannot Detect" guidance for this family starts from the same chip check. We do not claim guaranteed recognition on every firmware version; if a cartridge still will not register, the lifetime warranty covers it.
When does the super-high set beat the LC103 set?
When the printer prints steadily and cartridge changes are the interruption you want to halve: every cartridge in this box is rated double its LC103 counterpart. For occasional printing, the LC103 Set of 4 remains the lower-cost reset.
Can I install half the set now and keep the rest?
Yes. Install the slots that are low and store the remainder sealed and upright; open each cartridge only when its turn comes.
Why is there no equivalent set for the MFC-J6520DW?
Because its super-high black is the LC109BK, which our source range carries as a genuine original only — no compatible LC109BK exists in it — so a compatible super-high set for the ledger trio cannot be built honestly. Those printers use the LC103 sets plus LC105 color singles from this family.
Are the cartridges in the set chipped?
Yes — each of the four carries a new compatible chip. Handle them by the housing and keep fingers off the small green chip contacts.
Can I mix set cartridges with LC103 singles later?
Yes — slots are independent, so an LC103 single can refill any one position of a printer running this set, and vice versa.
Is this a genuine Brother set?
No. It is the Clever Supplies compatible set built to the LC107BK and LC105 specifications, labeled compatible on the box and this page.
What if one cartridge in the set is faulty?
The lifetime warranty covers each cartridge individually — a single faulty cartridge is replaced on its own. Free returns apply within the first year.
How should I store the unopened half of the set?
Sealed, upright, out of direct sunlight, caps on. Open a cartridge only when its slot calls for it.
