MFC-J6720DW

The MFC-J6720DW belongs to the ledger three-model group; what it can take is high-yield LC103 (600 pages) plus the super-high tier: LC105 colors (1,200 pages) and the LC109BK black (2,400 pages — genuine only in our source range, so no compatible black is listed for it here). The ledger trio is where this family's black split matters most: its super-high black is the LC109BK, not the LC107BK of the five mid-size models, and the two cannot be swapped. Because no compatible LC109BK exists in our source range, this page lists the LC103 singles and sets plus the LC105 color singles, and marks the LC109BK in the table as information only.

The MFC-J6720DW takes LC103 high-yield ink (600 pages per cartridge, ISO/IEC 24711) and the super-high tier: LC105 colors (1,200 pages each) with the LC109BK black (2,400 pages). The LC105 colors beside it are $11.99 each for up to 1,200 pages — about a cent a page.

Chip, ink and everyday use

On the MFC-J6720DW, the second ledger model, recognition care starts before installation: keep spares sealed, then seat one cartridge in its own slot at a time. Every LC103 and LC105 color here carries a new chip; grip the housing and keep fingers away from the small green contacts. When a firmware update interrupts recognition, reseat that cartridge firmly and restart the printer first, since this page's super-high black is information only, not a compatible listing. Every Clever Supplies cartridge here carries a lifetime warranty with 1-year free returns.
