Frequently Asked Questions
Two XL cartridges in one box — what does the pack actually save?
Let's be exact, because the saving here is real but modest. A single TN920XL is $150.89, so two bought separately cost $301.78. This pack is $288.45 — a saving of $13.33, bringing each cartridge down to $144.23 and the pair's 12,000 rated pages to about 2.4 cents a page. Nobody gets rich on $13.33; the pack's deeper value is operational. It puts a genuine spare on the shelf, which is what stands between a busy office and the emergency order at whatever price the nearest shop chooses to charge.
Hold on — doesn't the single UXXL cartridge beat this pack?
On pure page arithmetic, yes, and you deserve to hear it from us. The TN920UXXL is $241.49 for 18,000 rated pages — more pages than this pack's 12,000, for $46.96 less. If one printer does all your volume, the UXXL is the sharper buy. This pack wins in the other common layout: two printers sharing the load, a spare that can rescue either machine, or a business that would rather hold two mid-size cartridges than one very large one. Flexibility is the product here; the UXXL sells concentration.
Each cartridge is rated 6,000 pages — so the pack is 12,000 pages of capacity?
Yes — two independent TN920XL cartridges, 6,000 rated pages apiece, 12,000 across the box. Read it as two full cartridge lives, not one stretched one: the second cartridge sits sealed until the first is spent, so none of the capacity is committed until you open it. At 1,000 black pages a month that is roughly a year of printing with exactly one changeover in the middle.
Flat, sealed, and unremarkable: a cupboard away from radiators and sunlit windows is all genuine toner asks. Do not open the second cartridge "to check it" — the seal is what keeps it factory-fresh, and an unopened cartridge waits patiently for the months a busy office may take to need it. When the printer calls for toner, the swap takes a couple of minutes and the empty goes out with your usual recycling.
What are the return and warranty terms on the pack?
The pack can be returned within 30 days of delivery in all cases, and both cartridges carry Brother's manufacturer warranty as genuine stock — the full terms are on our shipping and returns page. We ship from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California warehouses, whichever is nearest, and support answers Monday to Friday between 9 AM and 5 PM CST.
