One color ran out on our 7665 while the others still show healthy levels. Do we replace just that one?
Yes — each cartridge lives its own life in this family. Cyan (006R01222), magenta (006R01221) and yellow (006R01220) are spent at different rates depending on what your pages look like: an office printing blue-heavy charts will drain cyan long before yellow. The set gives you all four on hand so whichever color finishes first, its replacement is a shelf away, and the untouched cartridges stay sealed until their turn.
After a fresh color cartridge goes in, the first prints look slightly off. Is that normal?
It can be. A newly installed cartridge needs a few pages for toner flow to settle, and the machine may run a short calibration on its own. Print a handful of ordinary pages before judging a critical color job; if output still looks wrong after that, the issue is worth a call rather than another cartridge swap.
What does the Premium Quality wording add to this set?
Nothing physical — and we would rather say so plainly. The Premium Quality listing and the standard listing are the same four cartridges at the same $433.01, with the same 1-year warranty and the same year of free returns behind them. The phrase is a search-term label, not a different grade of toner for your WorkCentre 7665.
How are the four cartridges identified so nobody grabs the wrong box?
By number and by color, both printed on every box: 006R01219 for black, 006R01222 for cyan, 006R01221 for magenta and 006R01220 for yellow. The machine's slots are color-keyed as well, so a cartridge physically will not seat in the wrong position — matching the label to the slot message is all the checking a swap requires.
How long is a set expected to last in a color-printing office?
The ratings behind the estimate are 30,000 pages for black and 34,000 pages for each color, measured under standard coverage. Color-rich pages — full-page graphics, dense charts — spend toner far faster than memos, so treat those figures as the ceiling of a range rather than a promise, and let your first set's swap dates set the real schedule.
