Frequently Asked Questions

How do we verify this set against what our machine is using now?

Open the supplies status on your Phaser 6700DX and compare the four numbers it reports: 106R01510 for black, 106R01507 for cyan, 106R01508 for magenta and 106R01509 for yellow. If the screen matches, this $221.21 set is the correct restock, cartridge for cartridge.

What do drawing markups and revision clouds do to the color yields?

Cyan 106R01507, magenta 106R01508 and yellow 106R01509 are each rated at 12,000 pages at standard coverage, but redline markups, highlighted details and full-color renderings spend color toner at several times the standard rate. Firms that print review sets should expect the color channels — especially the one carrying their markup color — to finish well ahead of the rating.

And for the black-heavy work — spec books and drawing text?

That load falls on black 106R01510, rated at 18,000 pages. Dense specification volumes are still mostly text coverage, so black consumption tracks its rating more closely than the colors track theirs. In most project cycles the black is the first cartridge to be exchanged, and it can be swapped on its own without disturbing the color bays.

Is the Premium Quality set built differently from the standard one?

No — same four cartridges, same $221.21 price, same warranty and returns terms. The Premium wording is a listing label only. Nothing inside the boxes changes between the two listings, so a project team loses nothing by ordering this one and gains nothing it would not get from the other.

Where is the sensible place to keep the spare set?

In its sealed boxes, in the same room as the machine or a nearby supply cabinet — indoors, dry and out of direct light. Project work runs to deadlines, and a complete set within arm's reach means a channel that empties at 4 PM is a two-minute swap rather than a stalled submittal. Rotate older stock in first when a new set arrives.

What support and cover stand behind the set?

Each cartridge is covered by a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns. The support team is on hand Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and orders ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA. Terms are set out on our shipping and returns page, and the full Xerox range is on the brand page.

About This Phaser 6700DX Premium High Yield Toner Set

Engineering and architecture offices ask a Phaser 6700DX to do two jobs — crisp black line work and color that carries meaning — and this set stocks both: black 106R01510 rated at 18,000 pages for drawings and specifications, and cyan 106R01507, magenta 106R01508 and yellow 106R01509 at 12,000 pages each for markups, renderings and presentation boards. The four cartridges together are one $221.21 order.

Premium in the title adds no difference in the box: the same cartridges, price and terms as the standard listing. What the set itself adds is headroom — high-yield channels across the board, replaced independently as each project cycle drains them, so the machine is stocked for the next deadline instead of the last one.
