Several of us share this printer. How do we know which set to reorder?
Whoever stands at the machine can settle it in seconds: open the supplies view on the Phaser 6600DN and read the four part numbers. This set matches when the screen shows black 106R02244, cyan 106R02241, magenta 106R02242 and yellow 106R02243. Passing those numbers to whoever orders — rather than just saying "toner" — is what keeps the wrong box from arriving.
What is inside the carton?
Four sealed toner cartridges: one black, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow, for $117.81 the set. Nothing else is bundled in — if the machine is also calling for a drum or another supply, that item has its own part number and its own listing.
How long should a set last in a shared workgroup?
Black is rated at 3,000 pages and each color at 2,000 pages at standard coverage. On a shared machine the black does most of the work — memos, forms and reports — so it normally empties first, while the colors stretch further unless someone runs a long color job. A workgroup that prints steadily will cycle through black noticeably faster than a single-user desk.
Can the person nearest the printer swap a cartridge, or is it a technician job?
It is a thirty-second, tool-free swap designed for whoever is standing there. Each cartridge slides out of its own slot and its sealed replacement slides in. Only the empty color needs changing; the others stay put.
Where will our order ship from?
From the closest of our warehouses in IL, PA, GA or CA, and the delivery and returns details live on our shipping and returns page. Shared printers argue for a sealed spare set in the cabinet: the warning always seems to land on the busiest morning of the month.
What if one of the cartridges is defective out of the box?
It is covered by a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns — a bad unit is replaced or refunded, and support is on hand Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. The full Xerox range is on the brand page if the office runs more than one model.
About This Phaser 6600DN Four-Color Toner Set
The Phaser 6600dn usually sits at the center of a small workgroup, taking jobs from every desk around it. This four-cartridge set keeps that arrangement fed: black 106R02244 rated at 3,000 pages, and cyan, magenta and yellow rated at 2,000 pages apiece, for $117.81. Because a shared machine burns black fastest, the practical habit is simple — confirm the four numbers on the supplies screen, reorder the set when black runs low, and keep the spare sealed until the morning it is needed.
