Frequently Asked Questions
What does "Premium Quality" mean on this set, in plain terms?
Plainly put, it changes nothing about what lands on your desk. The four cartridges are 106R01085 in black, 106R01082 in cyan, 106R01083 in magenta and 106R01084 in yellow, rated at 7,000 pages apiece, and the set costs $185.39 — exactly what the standard listing charges. Warranty cover runs a full year, returns stay free for that same year, and support hours are identical. Treat the words as a shelf label for the product family, not as a promise of an upgraded cartridge inside the box.
Our night auditor is alone when a cartridge dies. Can one person swap it?
Yes, in about a minute, with no tools and no training beyond opening the front cover. Each cartridge sits in its own bay and works independently — out with the empty one, in with its replacement, and the other three colors are never touched. A guest folio run at 2 AM does not have to wait for the morning shift.
How do we confirm these numbers against the Phaser 6300N at the desk?
Print the supplies page from the panel, or read the labels on the installed cartridges. You are looking for 106R01085 in black, 106R01082 in cyan, 106R01083 in magenta and 106R01084 in yellow. The Phaser 6300N shares its cartridge line with the base Phaser 6300, so those four numbers are the whole check.
Guest folios and confirmations are mostly plain text. What yield should we expect?
Better than a color-heavy office would see. The 7,000-page rating for each cartridge assumes standard document coverage, and front-desk printing — folios, registration cards, confirmation letters — sits close to that assumption, dominated by black 106R01085. Color consumption stays light until the events team prints banquet packets, so expect black to lead and the colors to trail far behind.
Where should the spare set live at a front desk?
Sealed, flat, in a cool dry drawer or supply cabinet — not on top of a warm printer and not in direct sun through the lobby glass. Kept that way, a spare set is ready the night it is needed, months after it arrived. Open a cartridge only at the moment it goes into the machine.
How does delivery work, and what cover do we get?
The set ships from whichever of our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA is closest to the property; carriers and windows are covered on our shipping and returns page. Every cartridge carries a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns, and support answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Sister properties running other models will find them under the Xerox brand page.
About This Phaser 6300N Premium Quality High-Yield Four-Color Toner Set
A front-desk Phaser 6300N prints around the clock in short, urgent bursts — a folio here, a confirmation there — and it cannot wait for business hours when a cartridge gives out. This Premium Quality set stocks the desk with four high-yield cartridges rated at 7,000 pages each: 106R01085 black, 106R01082 cyan, 106R01083 magenta and 106R01084 yellow, at $185.39. Nothing about the purchase differs from the standard listing — identical cartridges, identical money, identical cover. Confirm the four numbers once, keep the spare set sealed in the desk cabinet, and the night shift is covered.
