Six of us share this printer. Which cartridge should we expect to replace first?
Almost always black. Shared office printing is mostly documents, and the black cartridge carries an 8,000-page rating against 6,000 for each color on the Phaser 6180DN. But ratings assume standard coverage, and one person printing slide decks or color reports can drain a single color ahead of schedule. The supplies screen shows each cartridge separately, so reorder by what it reports, not by habit.
How does whoever orders supplies verify the set without opening the printer?
The supplies status screen lists the four part numbers directly: black 113R00726, cyan 113R00723, magenta 113R00724, yellow 113R00725. Read them off the panel, compare with this set, and the order is right. Nobody has to pull a cartridge or find the person who installed the last one.
What does $211.70 buy the department?
One complete high-yield set: a single black, cyan, magenta and yellow cartridge, each sealed on its own. Nothing else is bundled in — drums and other wear items are separate supplies with their own numbers, ordered on their own lines when the machine calls for them.
Yellow is empty but three people have black-and-white jobs queued. Are they stuck?
No. Monochrome jobs run from the black cartridge alone, so the queue keeps moving while yellow sits empty. The yellow cartridge is its own sealed unit — swap it when the replacement arrives and leave the other three untouched.
How fast can a replacement set reach the office?

I prefer the Xerox Phaser 6180DN as compatible toner cartridges and not original. I bought it at tonerandInkjetstore.com. Nice buy and it performed better than the expensive Xerox original.
