B420
A step up in OKI's compact mono line, the B420 serves small workgroups with faster black-and-white output. It shares the B410's Type B1 family — 43979101, 43979201 and 43979206 — so offices can mix the two models on one toner supply.

Frequently Asked Questions
What toner and drum does the OKI B420 use?
The B420's consumable family includes toner cartridge 43979101 and image drum options 43979201 and 43979206. Toner and drum are separate, so a faded page usually means toner while repeating marks usually mean the drum.
How do I know whether my B420 needs toner or a new drum?
Faded or light printing points to the 43979101 toner cartridge. Repeating spots, lines at regular intervals, or a drum-life warning point to the image drum (43979201 or 43979206). The printer's status page shows the remaining life of each.
What is the cheapest way to run a B420 for high-volume printing?
Pair the high-capacity drum option with the 43979101 toner and enable toner-save or draft mode for internal documents. Because the drum outlasts several toner cartridges, your per-page cost drops as volume rises.
