Frequently Asked Questions

Which toner does the OKI B401DN use?

The B401DN uses toner options 44992401 and 44992402, with the toner and image drum as separate units. Duplex and networking are built in.

Which should I buy for the B401DN, 44992401 or 44992402?

The 44992402 is the higher-capacity option, so it costs less per page and needs replacing less often. Choose it if the B401DN is a shared machine; the 44992401 suits light, occasional printing.

The B401DN prints blank pages. Is the toner the problem?

Blank pages usually mean the toner cartridge's seal was never removed or the cartridge is not seated. Pull the cartridge, check for any remaining pull-tabs or packaging, reseat it firmly, and try again before ordering a replacement.
